We will roll promptly at 6:30pm from the Miller Elementary School parking lot in New Boston and will follow our established Monday Motion 1 route of 34.4 miles out to Ypsilanti and back through Belleville. Monday Motion routes can be viewed on our RWGPS event page. Route maps and GPS files can be downloaded HERE. Note that there is a minor re-route through Belleville this year due to road work that was completed last fall and will be another near the end as we ride around the closed bridge in New Boston.
We will ride in a tight paceline format. The pace will be at least 19 + MPH, but as anyone who has ridden this ride in the past knows, this is a challenge event, so who really knows how fast we'll end up. This IS a DROP ride. That means that all riders must be familiar with the route, have a route map or have a GPS route file uploaded to their navigation device in case they happen to fall off the back. The ride leader has been known to get dropped on this one. We will however stop for mechanicals.
